Merry We Meet!!

This is my space to share, rant, rave, and even do a little bragging about my life choices, family, and where each are taking me.

Many people think 'witch' and immediately jump to the conclusion that I am some weirdo who's home smells like stale incense and thinks Mr. Potter is end all be all of magick. I hate to disappoint, but I am as normal as the next person. As much as a person can be normal.

So, please read on. Enjoy my trials and tribulations. Hopefully, you can learn something from the mistakes I make and the good fortunes that come my way.

Spring is on its way....

Maybe not here in Michigan just yet... but it is coming. And with that brings the beginning of, what my family deems, the busy season. Between all the yard work and household repairs that we want to accomplish before summer and the end of the school year, Spring is a very busy season for my family.

However, I don't want to talk about what my family is busy doing. Instead I would like to talk about what is going on around us as a whole. Spring is a time for new life. Not  just in the plants that surround us but also the animal life. Nature comes to life again, filling the air with the soft scents of fresh flowers, the skies with the fluffiest of clouds, and the earth with a plush carpet of thick grasses, new crops, and clear running waters.

It's a time to really look forward to what is to come and really enjoy what has been offered and returned to us after this long (and vicious) winter. From the cold barren lands of winter comes forth new life and warmer days. Even the sun itself seems to rejoice in the return of warmer weather.

My favorite thing about living in a four season state is that we truly get to experience FOUR seasons. Albeit Spring sometimes ends up being 3 days long, LOL. I love watching the cycle of birth, life, death, and rebirth. To me, there is nothing more spiritual then watching the Dogwood Tree in our front yard blossom, grow leaves, drop it's leaves, and re-bud the following year.

As much as I love the snow and cold, I love the early days of spring as well (when there are still no bugs). I'm looking forward to the new blooms that are waiting ever so patiently under a blanket of snow and ice.

Brightest Blessings
